As you may be aware, keeping in mind the growing Indian population and our devotee base in the area, we had previously announced our intention to acquire a larger plot of land on FM423 and Lone star ranch pkwy in Frisco, TX for the construction of our new temple. It is with a sense of deep regret that we, the Board of Trustees, must share with you a recent development regarding our efforts to secure new land for our temple on FM423. Unfortunately, the transaction has fallen through, and we will not be able to proceed with the purchase. Throughout the process, we diligently strived to meet the evolving demands and financial expectations. Despite our unwavering commitment and best efforts, we reached a point where the costs surpassed what we could responsibly allocate without compromising our temple’s fiscal health.

The Maha Shivarathri Festival was celebrated over three days this year with the blessings of Sri Ganesha beginning on March 7th, 2024 and ending on March 9th, 2024. Maha Shivarathri Day began with a Rudraabhishekam for the first Kaala Puja, followed by a special Raja Alankaram followed by a Rudraabhishekam for the second, third and fourth Kaala Pujas. It was a glorious night filled with bhajans in praise of Lord Shiva and the vibrant energies of Rudram & Chamakam chants. Throughout the night and into the early morning, devotees offered milk to the Atma Linga. Here is a small glimpse of Maha Shivarathri Day.

The teachings of The Church are derived from two sources: Holy Scripture and Sacred Tradition. Scripture contains those truths taught by Christ to the Apostles and later put into writing. Apostolic Tradition represents those truths, but not committed to writing, and the perspective of the ancient magi who were consecrated Bishops in the Church by Apostles. The Evangelist John tells us “Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.” (21:25). We meet every Sunday 8:30 AM for morning prayer followed by Holy Qurbana
